Karachi: At least eight students were injured when activists of two student organisations clashed in local government college of Karachi, sources said on Tuesday.
The sources said that the two groups clashed at Shipowner Government College. They added the groups used, sticks, bricks and iron bars in the clash and opened fire on each other also.
“A pedestrian also received a bullet on a chest during the clash and shifted to Jinnah Hospital,” the sources said. However, the college administration said that all the injured were the student of the college.
It was a sixth incident of clash between student groups in the city during last one month.
On Monday, a student, associated with student political wing, was also killed in a Saifee college of the city in a similar clash.
