Jamaica: West Indies defeated Australia by five wickets on the basis of Duckworth Lewis Method for the first time after the Champions trophy game in India in 2006 in the second One-day International at Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown in St Vincent, an island of West Indies.
Kieron Pollard who scored 47 runs remained top scorer from West Indies side along with Dwayne Bravo 30 and Johnson Charles 26 helped the team to score a low target of 155 runs.
The Australian bowlers failed to stop W Indies achieving the target. Xavier Doherty, Shane Watson and Breet Lee shared one wicket each.
Earlier Australia set a target of 155 runs in 40 overs for the loss of nine wickets. The match was restricted to 40 overs on the basis of Duckworth Lewis Method due to rainfall.
