Lahore: US Deputy Chief of Mission Richard Hoagland on Friday said that Pakistan should consider substitute sources of energy in order to accomplish its energy requirements.
Talking to media in Lahore Hoagland said Pakistan could use solar and biological energy to curtail its energy crisis.
“US have technology and experts in Energy sector and we are ready to support Pakistan in energy sector,” he added.
Hoagland further said that US implemented sanctions on Iran due to political circumstances adding that the Pak-Iran gas pipeline project could not be completed for many years.
