Lahore: Former All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) leader and spokesman of former president Pervez Musharraf, Fawad Chaudhry joins Pakistan People Party (PPP), sources said on Thursday.
The sources said that although there were rumors that Fawad Chaudhry would join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) but he decided against it.
Earlier Fawad Chaudhry left the former President, alleging that the process of decision making in the party lacked democratic spirit.
It is to be mentioned that many leaders of APML had left Musharraf after his decision of not coming to Pakistan due to security threats.
