Mardan: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) received another jolt on Wednesday after the departure of senior leaguer Makhdoom Javed Hashmi from the party last year, as its three senior leaders from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa announced to quit the party.
On Wednesday PML-N central leader Sir Anjaam Khan, besides Abdul Subhaan Khan and Bahadar Khan, who had braved oppressions and torture during the military regime and remained loyal to the party during the hardest times of its history, announced to end their long association with the party.
Announcing the decision, Sar Anjam Khan said that they had not yet decided their future political plan, but would announce within few days. The estranged leaders are most likely to jump on the bandwagon of cricketer-turned- politician Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Sources close to Sir Anjaam told The News Tribe that Senior PTI leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi had contacted Sir Anjaam Khan and invited him to join PTI. They said that the three leaders were set to join PTI and would announce their decision in this regard within days.
