Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday took up a plea against possible removal of Army Chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lt. Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha.
The initial hearing was conducted by a bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. The bench forwarded the plea to SC registrar to fix date for regular hearing.
Attorney General Mauvi Anwarul Haq raised objection over the application. However, the CJ said objections could be raised on appropriate time.
