Lahore: At least 13 people including women were killed and 40 others were trapped when a roof of a factory building caved in in Lahore due to the boiler explosion.
The three storey building of the pharmaceutical factory is located on the city’s Multan Road.
Rescue services reached the site of the incident soon after and managed to rescue eight people, including two women.
The rescue workers had managed to rescue 10 people, including two women, the rubble.
Wahid Cheema, DCO Lahore, told media that the rescue teams were facing difficulties as the factory was located in congested area.
