Karachi: Federal Minister for Railways, Ghulam Ahmed Bilour on Saturday said that if government provides department with funds 100 trains could be brought on tracks.
Bilour said that Railways had 147 Locomotives out of which 112 were on tracks. “Five more trains like Pakistan Business Express with the co-operation of private sector will be on tracks as soon as possible”, he added.
Bilour further said that media thought that railway authorities were incompetent but GM Railway Azim saeed on his own had completed maintenance of 20 engines and if government provided funds there would be 20-25 trains would be on tracks.
