London: Fast-bowler Mohammad Amir has been released today after completing his six-month sentence for bowling deliberated no-balls during a Lord Test in August 2010.
According to reports, Amir was scheduled to release on February 9 but he apparently released today.
He was languishing in a rehabilitation center in London and will stay in London till March.
Authorities have hinted that the fast-bowler will not deport and send to Pakistan after few days.
Amir was punished by the court on November 3 along with former captain Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif. But Amir is yet to finish his five-year ban period.
