Davos: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that democracy is strong in Pakistan and there is no confrontation between the state institutions.
He was talking to a private television on Friday in Davos Switzerland. The prime minister said the character that caused misunderstanding between the institutions was removed. He said that economies in the world were declining while in Pakistan it was growing.
Gilani said that Mansoor Ijaz was to come to Pakistan on court orders, adding that he had nothing to do with Ijaz.
Replying a query regarding next general election, the premier said the election would be held in time. “Senate election will be held in March while budget will be presented in May,” he added.
To another question regarding Imran Khan, he said he was not bothered about Khan’s statement.
