Peshawar: A US drone on Monday fired missiles in Pakistan’s north western tribal region, killing at least five people, sources said.
The sources said the attack took place in Datta Khel Tehseel of North Waziristan Agency near Afghan border.
The latest strike is third attack on Pakistani soil since a Nato raid killed at least 26 Pakistani soldiers on a border-checkpost.
Anti-American sentiments are running high in the South Asian Islamic nation after the Nato aggression despite country’s continued efforts against extremists and military campaign against the home grown terrorists.
