Lahore: The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was increased by 13 rupees on Tuesday.
LPG Association spokesman Bilal Jabbar said the implementation of petroleum levy by government had forced the dealers to increase the prices of LPG.
He said that the Petroleum Ministry had imposed a petroleum levy by Rs 11,486 per ton.
This is the second raise in LPG prices this month. Earlier, prices of the gas were increased by 10 to 15 rupees per kilogramme.
“Imposition of petroleum levy will be challenged in the court,” the spokesman added.
