Kabul: An International Security Assistance Force helicopter made a precautionary landing in northern Afghanistan, yesterday.
The aircraft experienced mechanical problems and the crew made a precautionary landing in accordance with standard emergency procedures.
The crew was recovered unharmed and the aircraft was recovered to a local Forward Operating Base without incident.
There were no reports of enemy engagement or activity in the area.
