London: David Beckham has reportedly urged Frank Lampard to consider signing for MLS outfit LA Galaxy.
The former England star has spoken to the Chelsea midfielder twice about a potential move, according to The Sun report..
The reports said that Beckham has twice spoken to Lampard regarding a switch to the US in the last 12 days, including a meet up at a swanky restaurant in Harrods.
Lampard has been rumoured to be seeking a move from Stamford Bridge after finding himself starting on the bench under Ander Villas-Boas this season.
“Galaxy have three designated players – Beckham, Robbie Keane and Landon Donovan, who is on loan at Everton,” the paper quotes a Galaxy source as saying.
“However, there could be a way around the rules so Lampard could also join.”
