Islamabad: The nation is celebrating the 135th birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan, today (Sunday) renewing the pledge to follow his guiding principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline, thus promoting prosperity, peace and harmony and consolidating democratic process in the country.
A number of activities were arranged throughout the country to highlight Quaid’s guiding principles of “Unity, Faith and Discipline for promoting prosperity, peace and harmony in the country.
Various political, educational and social organisations have chalked out special functions to pay homage to the Quaid-e-Azam, who created a separate state for Muslims of South Asia on August 14,1947.
The day reminds about Quaid’s historic struggle for a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent where every citizen could live according to his faith and dignity.
