Islamabad: Christians all over the world are celebrating the Christmas festival today (Sunday). Christian devotees in large number in Pakistan as well gathered to churches for midnight mass.
The Christian community has decorated the Churches and their homes with colorful buntings and glaring multi-color lights. The youth belonging to same community also purchased cards to exchange warm greetings. On this day, special prayers for the safety and security of the country would also be held in the Churches.
Adviser to Pakistan Prime Minister for National Harmony Paul Bhatti had said no Saturday no load shedding would be in practiced in churches on the eve of Christmas as he was trying his level best to facilitate the Christian brothers to celebrate the festival in a befitting manner.
