Mirpur: Pakistan cricket team have completed a clean-sweep in test series against Bangladesh after defeating by seven wickets in the second test match at Shere Bangla stadium, Mirpur here on Wednesday.
Bangladesh cricket team had set the target of 103 with the help of solid 117-runs partnership between young Nasir Hussain and skipper Mushfiqur Rahim.
Both the batsmen scored 79 and 53 respectively.
Left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman was picked of the bowlers who took four important wickets while fast-bowler Umar Gul, Aizaz Cheema and spinner Saeed Ajmal took two wickets each.
Chasing the little target Pakistan came aggressively and completed the score in just 20.5 overs. Opener Mohammad Hafeez was the highest scorer who made 47 and middle order batsman Azhar Ali made 34 runs. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq ended the inning with the style by hitting six.
