Hyderabad: The Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) is holding its 10th Convocation today (December 17) to confer degrees upon 450 students of the MBBS, the BDS and postgraduates.
Representative of LUMHS Dr Bhatia told The News Tribe 350 Doctors, 82 BDS and nursing candidates will be awarded degree in convocation.
LUMHS is Pakistan second top medical and first IMNCI certified university in Sindh.
It is pretend to be mentioned here this is second convocation in 2011, first one was held in January this year, where 500 students of MBBS, BDS and postgraduate conferred degrees.
For the first time in the history of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro arrangements have been made to webcast live proceedings of 10th Annual LUMHS Convocation 2011.
According to university administration live streaming of 10th convocation will be made available through official LUMHS website enabling parents, students, alumni and other stakeholders to view academic accomplishments of the graduates.
