Auckland: Pakistan was forced out of the Champion Trohpyhockey tournament, as the defending champion Australia thrashed Pakistan with a 6-1.
At the end of first half, Australia was leading with 2-0. However, the kangaroos continued their onslaught in the second half and scored four more goals to end the match one-sided with 6-1. The only goal from Pakistan was scored by Muhammad Touseeq int the second half . The defeat to Australia is a third in a row , as earlier Pakistan had conceded defeat to Great Britain and Spain in its pool matches.
