Lahore: Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that sovereignty and integrity of the country would not be compromised.
Talking to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) members of Punjab Assembly in Lahore on Sunday, Gilani said that government and armed forces would protect the country’s sovereignty at any cost. He urged the world to respect Pakistan’s integrity and sovereignty.
He said government has taken the stand for the sake of country’s sovereignty.
He directed the party members to enhance the public contact campaign in the province.
Relations between Pakistan and US came to its lowest ebb after the Abbottabad operation and fresh Nato attack on security check-posts in Mohmand agency of the country’s tribal region which led killing of 24 Pakistani soldiers.
