Islamabad: Pakistan’ s Foreign Office said on Monday that the country’s nuclear program would not be compromised.
Reacting over the former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s statement in which he dubbed President Asif Ali Zardari as a threat to country’s nuclear program, the FO spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said that all the powers had been devolved to parliament after the passage of 18th Amendment to the Constitution.
She said that the prime minister was the head of Executive and National Command Authority in the country.
She said that Pakistan was a responsible atomic power.
