Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has contacted President Asif Ali Zardari and Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani to discussed the Nato airstrike that took place in Mohmand Agency, killing at least 25 military officials, including two officers and injuring 15 others.
Sources said that the prime minister will reach Islamabad today, cutting short his Multan visit in the wake of the Nato attack.
Meanwhile, Foreign Office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said Prime Minister Gilani had condemned the Nato attack and directed the office to take the issue before Nato and the United States.
Pakistan has also suspended Nato supplies for Afghanistan and a large number of containers and tankers were stopped at different check-posts from entering Afghanistan in protest against the deadly attack.
