Abu Dhabi: Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the 5th and last one-day international at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi here on Wednesday.
Sri Lanka, trailing 3-1 in the five-match series were forced to bring in batsman Chamara Silva for Mahela Jayawardene who returned home after injuring his knee in the fourth match.
Pakistan, with the series sewn up, took the opportunity to give some fringe players an opportunity and made three changes.
Opener Imran Farhat, wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed and fast bowler Aizaz Cheema have been left out while Asad Shafiq, Sohail Tanvir and Junaid Khan have been included.
