Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that he would take legal action against the British newspaper for publishing news regarding his meeting with Cameron Munter in the presence of ISI chief Lieutenant General Ahmed Shuja Pasha .
Talking to media on his arrival from Landon on Wednesday, Khan said that he had met US envoy Cameron Munter six month ago and ISI head Gen Pasha was not present in that meeting.
He said that President Asif Ali Zardari was responsible for memogate scandal and the Supreme Court of Pakistan should investigate the matter.
Khan termed Zardari and PML-N chief as brothers and said the PML-N and PPP had destroyed the country. He said that he was trying to unite the people on a single plat form.
Replying a query, the cricketer-turned politician said that he was not a puppet of establishment.” Those who played in the hands of establishment and received Rs3500,000 from the ISI were sitting in Raiwind.
Imran Khan said that he had argued in the World Economic Forum that there was no solution to the terrorism other than peace talks.
