Islamabad: US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has said that he met Teheek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan but Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Ahemd Shuja Pasha was not present on the occasion.
Talking in a TV show to be aired tonight, the US envoy said that Imran Khan was not against the United States and he wanted democracy in the country.
Replying a query regarding secret memo, he said that the US wanted to know reality behind the memorandum.
The US is ready to assist Pakistan in probing the memo issue if it was requested by Pakistan, he added
Munter said that US supported democracy, people of Pakistan and rule of law in the country.
