Karachi: The Sindh High Court on Tuesday disposed of Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) Chairman Afaq Ahmed’s plea in Khalid Hussain abduction case and directed police not to arrest him.
Justice Maqbool Baqir of the SHC ruled that Afaq didn’t need bail in the case as his name was put on Column B.
He remarked that the prosecution has already submitted that the MQM-H chief would not be arrested in the case.
Talking to media before appearing before the court, Afaq Ahmed said that Zulfiqar Mirza has been waging Jihad against unrest in Karachi and he would support him.
Afaq claimed that several Altaf Hussain’s comrades would soon join his party. He added that he would begin political activities in alleged no-go-areas following his release.
