Karachi: Former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza met Mohajir Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Afaq Ahmed on the Sindh High Court premises on Monday.
According to sources, Afaq was brought to the court for appearing in his cases . Talking to media here on Monday, he said that all the PPP workers accept some of its leaders were favouring him. Soon, “PPP chairman (Bilawal) and co-chairman (Zardari) would be standing beside me,” he said.
“I am going to London without any fear,” and added that he had come to meet Afaq to show solidarity with him as he was leader of an oppressed nation.
Replying a query regarding Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Mirza said that Shah Sahib (Qureshi) was a ‘great man’ and spiritual leader of millions of people.
To another question the former minister said that he had been seeing Imran Khan delivering a ‘bouncer’ and smashing ‘six’ but would not go with him as Khan would be caught out on boundary line.
“Once I had said in governor’s house that I would be arrested during my own government, today I have come to the court to practice stairs climbing as inmates are not provided facility of elevator,” he added.
