Dhaka: Pakistan’s women cricket team defeated Ireland by eight wickets in ICC Women’s World Cup qualifying round match and registered its second consecutive win in the event.
Pakistan’s Javeria Khan scored 41 not out and skipper Sana Mir made 34 runs.
Earlier, Irish team won the toss and elected to bat first and set a target of 141 runs. Pakistan’s Bisma Mahroof, Nida Dar and Sadia Yousaf took three wicket’s each to restrict Irish team to 140 runs.
On Monday, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 72 runs in their opening match.
