Karachi: The Sindh High Court on Friday ordered that no further cases would be registered against Mohaijir Qaumi Movemebt-Haqiqi (MQM-H) Chief Afaq Ahmed till November 15.
Justice Maqbool Baqir was hearing the Afaq’s application against his detention. Afaq Ahmed told the court that he was being threatened and asked to leave the country.
The court told the prosecutor that absence of his investigation officer showed malicious intent. “More cases are registered against Afaq before one case is disposed of,” Justice Baqir remarked.
The court also summoned Prosecutor General Shahadat Awan on the next hearing.
