Karachi: Majority of Pakistanis are in favour of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s alliance with any other political party for next election.
This was revealed in a survey conducted by “Speak For Change” , a Facebook group of 236807 Pakistanis, mostly aged between 16 and 35 years.
In response to a question that “Would you support PTI if they form a political alliance with PML-N, Jamaat-e-Islami or any other party for next election?, 1773 people said ‘yes’. However, 583 opposed the idea.
Now political circles have started debate on this subject following the recent successful PTI public meeting in Lahore.
Many see a long-lasting and successful alliance between PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami due to their corruption-free track record in the country’s political history.
Speak For Change is a group owned by renowned TV anchor Faisal Qureshi. He appeals to Pakistani youth to “Speak against violence, Speak against joblessness, Speak against oppression, Speak against abuse, Speak against hunger, Speak for change.”
