London: A London court on Thursday awarded two and a half year imprisonment to Salman Butt and one year to Muhammad Asif while Muhammad Amir has been sent to Young Offender Institute for six months in cricket corruption case.
Mazhar Majeed has been jailed for two years and eight months at London’s Southwark crown court.
Judge Jeremy Cooke issued the verdict against the Pakistani trio.
Trio and Majeed will serve half of their sentences before being released on licence.
Pakistani trio were ordered to pay contributions towards the costs of the prosecution. Salman Butt was ordered to pay ÂŁ30,937, Mohammad Asif ÂŁ8120 and Mohammad Amir ÂŁ9,389.
