Multan: Pakistan’s former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that people seek change in the country.
Addressing a seminar in Multan, the biggest city of southern Punjab, he said that the ‘corrupt duo in government’ is about to be sent home. He said that the way by which the rulers were running the country can confront the country with bankruptcy.
Around Rs 3,100 billion are lost to corruption every year, he said, adding that the losses of Pakistan Railways, the PIA and the WAPDA are multiplying by the day.
The former minister said that if the people fall the ‘idols of Somnat’ by elections, the country can lead to progress and prosperity within ten years.
