Quetta: Former Station House Police Officer (SHO)and Assistant Sub-Inspector have been sacked in light of a report produced by a judicial commission which probed killing of five foreigners in Kharotabad area of Quetta by police and Frontier Constabulary personnel.
The judicial commission headed by Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Hashim Khan Kakar had held SHO Fazlur Rehman and ASI Raza Khan responsible for the May 17 incident.
IG Balochistan Rao Hashim told media that, police department had set up a committee in light of the commission report and found the officials guilty. He added that the committee had also requested the federal government to take action against former CCPO Daud Junejo.
