Sakrand: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has said that the government’s writ was invisible in Sindh as criminal elements were roaming freely in the flood-hit areas of the province.
He said that the government did not fulfill its responsibilities and measures had not been taken to drain floodwater.
The former prime minister was speaking to reporters in Sakrand during his visit to Sindh. He said that rulers not the Pakistan People’s Party were responsible of the worsening situation.
He said that the Punjab government had sent 807 trucks of ration, medicines worth Rs800 million. He added that five filed hospitals and water filtration plants were also provided in the area.
Replying a query, Sharif said that the government was conspiring against itself.He said that the government had no plan to overcome crises.
He said that the government was not able to tackle Karachi situation and it was not implementing the Supreme Court verdict in this regard.
