Lahore: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Chaudhary Ahmed Mukhtar has warned United States should not test Pakistan’s patience over drone attacks issue. “We have not worn bangles,” he mentioned.
He on Sunday once again made it clear that there is no written agreement between Pakistan and America regarding drone attacks.
Mukhtar visited Sheikh Zaid Hospital Lahore along with Governor Punjab Latif Khosa. He also inquired about the health of dengue patients admitted in the hospital and distributed free medicine.
He said it was unacceptable that Pakistanis were being killed in US drone attacks and government remained silent spectator. Pakistan was a responsible nuclear state, he added.
The defence minister further said that drone attacks issue would be resolved soon, but he did not specify any time.
