Karachi: A woman tried to hurl shoes at Nafeesa Shah, the daughter of Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah, when she was speaking at a programme about archeological sites.
The unidentified woman, stated to be a former teacher of NED University of Engineering, got furious when Shah called her an idiot instead of answering her question. The woman had asked Shah if she would continue to devour dollars received in foreign donations in the name of Moen Jo Daro, a famous archeological site of Pakistan.
Organisers of the event then tried to physically silence the lady, which further infuriated the woman. She started using abusive language, to which the organisers responded harshly. In the videos shown on local television channels, a man was seen trying to hit her.
Shah is a former nazim of Khairpur.
