Lahore: Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said efforts had been made to finish the MQM ever since it came into being. The allegations of hitching conspiracy against Pakistan were brought against the MQM in order to confuse the people.
Talking to the office-bearers and workers of the MQM Lahore zone, Hussain said everyone blamed MQM for the killings in Karachi. “When the message of the MQM started gaining wide acceptance in Punjab and other parts of the country, allegations of terrorism and treason were once again brought against the MQM.”
He said that the son of Punjab chief minister was involved in Ayesha Ahad torture case. He blamed the media of not raising Ayesha Ahad case.
He said that stories of torture cells were run on the television and thousands of workers of the MQM including his brother and nephew were murdered.
He said that a man in Sindh has committed blasphemy and ulema and judiciary should take action against him.
He appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action against him according to Islamic and constitutional laws.
He said that the MQM was the only party that raised voice for the rights of women.
