Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has successfully concluded a comprehensive three-day training programme organized by Training & Development Department in collaboration with Frakline Covey for its Senior Management titled “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” at PTCL Academy Islamabad.
The Seven Habits workshop helped participants to learn how to improve performance and results.
Each habit was divided into segments in which the principles of each habit were presented. Principles were discussed under the direction of the facilitator. Participants applied what they had learnt through case studies, small group discussions or reflective individual application activities.
PTCL recognizes its human resource as real asset in training and nurturing it. PTCL has achieved several appreciable milestones, but this programme is one of the most noteworthy achievements. PTCL has a large training infrastructure throughout the country.
Syed Mazhar Hussain, SEVP (HRA), while addressing training participants, stated, “Our Training & Development Department has been actively involved in developing effective training programmes and designing result oriented training intervention with a mission to help PTCL employees achieve significant, tangible and lasting improvement in their performance.”
He further stated that, “The Seven Habits training workshop was an initiative that recognized talent and further honed their existing skill sets & prepared them for bigger challenges to be taken up in the future”.
