Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML) Central Information Secretary Senator Mushahidullah Khan has said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement is neither a political party nor PML-N consider it so, rather it is a ‘group of extortionists and people involved in land grabbing’.
During an interview, Mushahidullah said that the Supreme Court in his verdict in Karachi suo motu case had exposed MQM’s involvement in extortion and land grabbing in Karachi.
He said that MQM leaders were expert in lying and the accused other of involvement in such criminal activities wherein they were themselves fully involved.
When asked whether his party would respond the allegations leveled by Altaf Hussain against party leadership, he said that his party did not take Altaf Hussain’s allegations seriously. He said that nowadays he was appreciating PPP leadership but few days ago he was dubbing President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani as patron of target killers, extortionists and gangsters. “However, we demand MQM to issue in advance a schedule of for how many days it will quit the government and when will return.”
He asked Altaf to come back to the country and express sympathy and solidarity with the flood affectees if he did not like Nawaz Sharif to be with flood victims.
