Washington: The United States wants to work towards improvement in bilateral ties with Pakistan, adding Islamabad’s should cooperate for taking action against Haqqani network, the State Department said.
The US State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland has said that trilateral ties between US, Pakistan and Afghanistan were very important for peace in the region. She said Pakistan’s role against Haqqani network was very crucial.
She said Washington and Islamabad were working at high level to eliminate the differences between both the ally partners.
Nuland said after the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, US and Pakistan carried out collective investigations but the interrogations could not show publically.
