Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday recommended government of Pakistan to grant Nishan-e-Pakistan – the best performance award for Pakistan – to three times International Cricket Council’s best umpire of the year, Aleem Dar.
The announcement was made during the prize distribution ceremony of the Faisal Bank national T20 championship here in Karachi.
Meanwhile, PCB also announced to replace the name of the umpire room of Gaddafi Stadium Lahore with Aleem Dar Room.
PCB also announced to replace the name of ‘Best Umpire of the Year’ award with ‘Aleem Dar Trophy’.
