Kabul: US-led coalition alliance in Afghanistan has once again claimed that Pakistan based Haqqani network has been fully operating in Pakistan was involved in cross border attacks.
The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) officials in a statement from war-ravaged Afghanistan said that they could not confirm the reports that Haqqani network’s sanctuaries have been finished form Pakistan.
The US-led alliance claimed that Haqqani group plans cross border attacks.
However, key Haqqani network leader Sirajuddidn Haqani told foreign media that he was in Afghanistan. Sirajuddin Haqqai also told foreign media that his group’s hideaways were not in Pakistan.
He also said that he considers Afghanistan as safer place as compare to Pakistan. But top US military officials repeatedly accusing Pakistan’s primary intelligence agency ISI – Inter Services Intelligence – of backing Haqqani network which was behind the Kabul attack on US Embassy.
