Karachi: The Sindh High Court has granted bail to Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM) chief Afaq Ahmed in a murder case.
According to reports the SHC accepted the bail plea of the detained MQM chief in the murder case of Atiqur Rehman. The court directed him to submit surety bonds of Rs one million.
The SHC Tasneem Ahmed directed the trial court to decide the murder case against Afaq within three months.
Afaq Ahmed was booked in the murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Atiqur Rehman.
Afaq’s counsel also filed acquittal plea with the court  that was also referred to the trial court .
It was the last case for which the MQM chief was kept under detention.
