Karachi: After wrecking havoc in Lahore with claiming more than 80 lives the deadly dengue virus has killed a woman in Karachi, taking the death toll in the metropolis to five this year.
Local media on Saturday reported that Dengue Surveillance Cell of the provincial health department confirmed that a woman mother of two was admitted to a private hospital located on M.A Jinnah road where he was tested positive for the dengue virus four days ago.
According to media number of platelets reduced rampantly, resultantly the woman died on Saturday.
