Mumbai: Former Pakisani speed-star Shoib Akhtar in his currently published autobiography “Controversially Yours” has alleged that veteran fast bowler and former captain Wasim Akram tried to spoil his career, Indian media reported.
According to reports Shoib in his book said former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Tauqir Zia backed him against Wasim Akram.
Akthar also alleged that bollywood star Shahrukh Khan and IPL chairman Lalet Modi cheated him. . The former Pakistan cricketer said that Sachin Tendulkar and Rahol Dravid were not winning players, adding that Sachin was afraid of his bowling.
Indian media also reported that Akhtar confessed to ball tempering and argued that ball tempering should be allowed in the international cricket.
