Islamabad: Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfand Yar Wali Khan has appreciated the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain for backing off from his allegations against him and expressed the hope that people with democratic thought would not do media trial of each other.
In a statement issued here on Monday, he said that decrease in political confrontation between will pave the way in bringing peace in Karachi.
Earlier The MQM chief had accused him of taking money from the United States to win election in Feb 2008 and backed off from his allegations today.
