Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement has demanded that Awami National Party be declared the biggest terrorist party of Pakistan and banned. In a statement from the Nine Zero, members of MQM said the ANP’s history is filled with acts of terrorism. “The masses know who has been involved in terrorism in the country with support from Afghanistan and India and who was banned in 1970.”
Member of MQM Coordination Committee Yousuf Shahwani, Gulfaraz Khatak Advocate from MQM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lahore Zone In Charge of MQM Syed Shaheen Gilani, and Ghotki Zonal In Charge Nooruddin Zangi said the party who receives dollars from America for acts of terrorism in the country should be ashamed of itself.
MQM said ANP’s hands are stained with the blood of people of Karachi. It demanded that ANP leaders be arrested forthwith and penalised. It said a man who used to be a rickshaw driver a few years ago now owns property worth billions of rupees, an allusion towards Shahi Syed of ANP.
It said the MQM is a party with roots in masses and if somebody wants it to be banned he should go to court.
