Karachi: Law enforcement agencies have carried out targeted operations in Karachi based on intelligence and arrested 12 suspected people since last night in which three alleged target killers are among them.

Special Investigation Unit (SIU) has claimed to arrest a target killer from the Lines Area which admitted to have killed five people and slit their throats from sharp knife.
The target killer identified as Shahroz admitted before media that he had killed five people and threw them away in different parts of the city after kidnapping. He mentioned the name of three slain persons as Imran, Abid and Kamran.
SSP SIU Khattab said the action was being taken to arrest three of his more accomplices. During the investigation SIU carried out raid at his house as accused admitted that a body was present in his house. The body was hidden in a large TV box and its neck was slit from throat in a pool of blood.
Meanwhile, Anti Violent Crime Cell also carried out raids on intelligence based information in different parts of city and arrested 11 suspected people including two alleged target killers.
One of the target killers, Shahid was arrested in New Karachi Sector 11 J, where three Kalashnikovs and one thousand rounds were recovered from his house.
