Islamabad: To reviews the serious allegations made by former senior Sindh minister Dr Zulfuqar Ali Mirza at MQM and its party leadership, President Asif Ali Zardari called a high level meeting.
According to sources, President Zardari called the meeting on Monday in Islamabad to discuss the ongoing situation. The leaders include Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, Home Minister Manzoor Wasan, Minister for Local Bodies Afha Siraj Durrani, Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Khauro, Law Minister Ayaz Soomro, Nadir Magsi, Khursheed Shah and Pir Mazharul Haq the sources added.
Very important decisions regarding Pakistan People’s Party’s policy and reorganisation are being expected in the meeting, the sources said.
Dr Zurlfiqar Ali Mirza allegations and accusations thrilled the nation, especially the revelation of US plan to destruct Pakistan and MQM’s Chief Altaf Hussain demand to then time British prime minister Tony Blear to break up Pakistan’s Intelligence Services Agency –ISI. He also alleged that MQM’s terrorists were involved in Karachi killings.
