Lahore: On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, District Administration Rahim Yar Khan has dispatched the second consignment of dry ration to the flood affectees of Thatha, Mirpur Khas, Tandu Allah Yar and Tandu Muhammad Khan in Sindh province.
Talking to media on this occasion, Additional District Collector Syed Wajid Ali Shah said that the relief items are an Eid gift from Chief Minister Punjab for the flood-hit people of Sindh province.
Addl. District Collector, Syed Wajid Ali Shah and Assistant Commissioner Rahim Yar Khan Rauf Ahmed sent the convoy. The rations include flour bags, pulses, rice, ghee, red chilies, salt and other edibles.
He said that 11 trucks carrying relief items have been sent to the flood-hit people of four districts of Sindh. He said that four trucks have been sent to Thatha, three to Mirpur Khas and two each to Tandu Allah Yar and Tandu Muhammad Khan. He said that more relief items will be sent to the flood-hit people of Sindh from Rahim Yar Khan District.
